Alzheimer's presents heart - wrenching experiences for those afflicted as well as their loved ones. Patients, family members and caregivers experience an extreme range of conflicting emotions while trying to stay on track and care for themselves and each other. It can be terrfying to first learn that you or a loved one is afflicted with this disease and very challenging to deal with the daily practical aspects of caregiving.
To everyone reading this, I would like to encourage you to also use my board to reach out to each other for support and lend advice or recommemdations that you may have for one another.
I am sure that those of us who are more experienced can be helpful to newcomers bewildered by the process. Newcomers and oldtimers are all welcome to post and share on this board.
I'm happy to help however I can. I look forward to chatting with you on the boards,
Dina
