Picks dementia: What happens now?
my sister has had picks for about 4 yrs now. her memory is very bad alot of anger @times confusion is there any meds or anything that we can do

Glad you are reaching out. Your sister is fortunate to have someone like you pulling for her. I know that dealing with a lot of anger can be very challenging at times.
The video Nancy pointed you to is very comprehensive and I think you will find the information in it helpful. In addition, there is a personal account of what happens written by Dr. Bob Fay, a physician with Pick's Disease. The article is called: "A Picture of Pick's Disease From the Inside Out". As far as your sister's anger, confusion, and memory problems, you may want to talk with her doctor. There are many prescription options doctors can use to help people who have Picks/FTD. It is always best to contact her doctor if you notice changes in your sister's dementia. My Mom has very advanced Alzheimer's and I have learned the importance of working with her doctor.
Her doctor may also want to check her to make sure there are no other health issues that could be causing the anger or confusion. A urinary track infection is one example of something other that the dementia that could be causing your sister to act out.
