Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves washed
  • 1 small ripe avocado peeled and pitted
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries unsweetened
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or other plant-based milk
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed freshly ground
  • 1 tsp honey optional, for mild sweetness

Method
 

  1. Place the spinach, avocado, frozen blueberries, almond milk, and ground flaxseed into a blender.
  2. Blend on high until smooth and creamy, about 1-2 minutes. Add honey if desired and blend briefly to mix.
  3. Pour into glasses and serve immediately for best texture and flavor.
