Soft Oatmeal with Berries

A warm, soft breakfast with berries and walnuts. Simple, gentle, and easy to eat.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup water or milk
  • 1/4 cup blueberries fresh or frozen
  • 1 tablespoon chopped walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon honey optional

Instructions

  • Add oats and water or milk to a small pot.
  • Bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Cook for 5–8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Stir in blueberries.
  • Top with chopped walnuts and honey, if using.
  • Serve warm.
