A real page turner, “While I Still Can,” provides a special glimpse into the world of memory loss. It tells a story of love, commitment, faith and courage in the face of a catastrophic disease. Rick Phelps writes with tremendous insight into all aspects of how he lives with a diagnosis of dementia. The book also offers eye-opening perspectives for caregivers living with someone who has dementia. Its chapters are short and stay on topic, making it an easy read for people with dementia, as well as busy caregivers.

Thank you for sharing my book. This book will take the reader on a roller coaster of emotions. You will laugh, you will cry, but most of all you will gain knowledge, from the eyes of a dementia patient.

And knowledge is power. My book is also available on Kindle Fire, and can be purchased as an audio version as well. It is a very easy read. Short chapters and very insightful for both the caregiver and the patient…
