Support & Insight for the Autumn of Life

Meet ElliQ, Robot Companion to Older Adults

ElliQ has conversations
Meet ElliQ, a friendly little robot companion to brighten the days of older adults who spend most of their time at home. (Video)

ElliQ, a robotic companion created by Intuition Robotics, is the first ever proactive, voice-operated care companion designed to empower independence and support older adults in taking control of their social, mental and physical wellbeing.

With empathy at the core, ElliQ can help seniors with health and wellness support, communication and connection features, entertainment and news updates, and concierge services to help with day-to-day activities.

ElliQ is a friendly presence in an older person’s life, engaging one in conversation, motivating one to adopt healthier habits and surprising that person with jokes and suggestions — a “personal sidekick” on the journey to age independently.

This site was inspired by my Mom’s autoimmune dementia.

It is a place where we separate out the wheat from the chaffe, the important articles & videos from each week’s river of news. With a new post on Alzheimer’s or dementia appearing on the internet every 7 minutes, the site’s focus on the best information has been a help to many over the past 15 years. Thanks to our many subscribers for your supportive feedback.

The site is dedicated to all those preserving the dignity of the community of people living with dementia.
