Citizen App Rescues Wandering Woman with Dementia

See how one woman used the “CITIZEN” app to help save a stranger suffering from dementia. CBS2’s Ali Bauman reports.


“CITIZEN” is a safety network and mobile application designed to open the 911 and emergency response systems of cities. It provides safety and crime alerts, real-time incident updates, and live user-generated video streams.

It is currently operating in New York City, San Francisco Bay Area, Baltimore, Los Angeles and Philadelphia.
